HERE ARE FIVE SIGNS THAT BECOMING A REIKI PRACTITIONER MAY BE CALLING TO YOU:
One: you may feel energy in your hands:
reiki naturally flows through us, but until you are ready to work with it, you barely feel it. when you do, it’s time to begin!
Two: you may feel drawn to do healing work:
reiki practitioners usually have past life or ancestral memories that surface to remind them to return to sacred service.
Three: you’re going through a spiritual crisis and/or awakening:
reiki shows up at transformational times in our lives to guide us, and helps us to heal and move through dense energies.
Four: you’ve become increasingly sensitive:
your sensitivity is a gift, and reiki practitioner training shows you how to fully receive and use this gift to heal yourself.
Five: people naturally come to you for support:
you have a healing vibe that attracts them to you. Reiki practitioner training teaches you how to support them.
Honoring this call is often a journey towards personal healing, spiritual growth, and a desire to help others, starting with self-care.
Here is a guide on what to do when you feel the call to become a Reiki practitioner:
FIRST: Validate the Calling
Trust Your Intuition: If you feel drawn to energy work, crystals, or have noticed you are sensitive to atmospheres and people's emotions, this is a common sign of being on a “practitioner’s” path.
Recognize the "Why": The call may come from a need to manage your own energy (if you are an empath or feel drained) or a desire to share peace and compassion when the world feels so unstable. It may also be that your mission has become more clear and you’re following your soul’s purpose.
Start with Yourself: Remember that Reiki Level I is primarily for self-healing and personal empowerment, this is the beginning of your reiki practitioner journey.
It’s important to spend time healing yourself before working with others. My Reiki I training gives you a 28 days integration period to fully transform your own energy doing the work to create a foundation as a healthy practitioner.
Rushing this before you are ready results in poor energy hygiene as a practitioner. I see lots go overwhelm and burnout in practitioners that rush this process without fully integrating the teachings. Or they don’t have the confidence that this time gives you as a practitioner.
Taking this time before doing Reiki II is essential and that’s why I teach the way I do. I want to make sure you are READY for this work.
After your integration period you will be invited to join me for Reiki II, the next step in becoming a practitioner and working with others as a professional energy worker.
You can learn more and enroll in my next REIKI I training cohort that starts on 3/26 HERE
I have scholarships available for anyone that needs one, no questions asked.
